Rapid Travel Chai

The Rapid Traveler flew into Cancun tonight from a week in Mexico City on business. He dusted off the rust on his manual transmission driving skills and is ready for a Mayan circuit tomorrow. He’ll start at 6 am heading west to Chichen Itza to be there for the 8 am opening ahead of tourist buses. From there is it back to Valladolid and up to Ek’ Balam, back through Valladolid to head southeast to the coast, stopping at Coba, Tulum and Muyil, with a peak at the Sian Ka’an Biosphere Reserve. Should be great fun. No time to linger, flying out Sunday. A good map is here.
