Rapid Travel Chai

I swapped suit for discrete t-shirt and olive pants, removed watch, took a few bills of cash, leaving wallet behind, took no day pack, but grabbed a bottle of water for my post-meeting, pre-sunset spin through Panamá Viejo, the original site of Panama City.

The surrounding area has reports of minor safety concerns so I had changed into my discrete mode to not attract attention, and not lose much if mugged. The area, it turned out, was quite low-key and I did not feel unsafe.

Anyway, I was walking along and took a sip of water, realizing I had taken the complimentary evian bottle from the hotel. The label advertised to all: gringo dope who pays too much for water.

I tore the label off and proceeded on my merry way.
