NYU’s Grey Art Gallery’s Beat Memories: The Photographs of Allen Ginsberg exhibition runs Jan 15-Apr 6. There are a number of companion programs, and a free East Village Self-Guided Walking Tour.
The Beat thing has enduring fascination for many, though is quite beyond my ken. The walking tour is a great way to explore the East Village, putting some context in buildings with non-obvious historical import.
