Lounge access gets complicated in major Canadian airports that have US Preclearance. You face domestic, US, and international terminals, sometimes multiples of them, each with their own lounges (or not). Every delayed Delta flight out of Toronto I pass that sad American Airlines Admirals Club Lounge and wonder if it is better there or in the sparse terminal.
At Vancouver (YVR), Priority Pass now includes all 4 Plaza Premium Lounges with the addition of their second domestic departures lounge.
Your options are:
- Plaza Premium Lounge (Domestic) by gate C29, open daily 06:00-22:00
- Plaza Premium Lounge (Domestic) by gate B15, open Sun-Fri 06:00-22:00, Sat 06:00-21:00
- Plaza Premium Lounge (USA) by gate E87, open Sun-Fri 05:00-19:00, Sat 05:00-18:00
- Plaza Premium Lounge (International) after security, open Sun-Fri 08:30-01:00, Sat 08:30-23:00
I have not visited any of these lounges, only the Air Canada Maple Leaf Lounge for USA departures. I recall the hard-boiled eggs.
