Amazon Prime Reading has launched. This is not the Kindle Lending Library or Prime Unlimited.
This new benefit includes a selection of books and periodicals free for Prime members.
It claims around 1,000 popular books from Calvin and Hobbes to Harry Potter, see the catalog. The main catalog does not list everything so you’ll want to search with Prime Reading filter.
To compare, Prime for Free has several dozen Lonely Planet titles while the paid Prime Unlimited has the whole collection.
Current magazines include Conde Naste Traveler and National Geographic Traveler, plus non-travel titles such as Bloomberg Businessweek, GQ, Sports Illustrated, and Vogue.
I cannot find any indication of if titles expire at any point. Since selections will change, download now what you may use later. There is a limitation of 10 titles borrowed at a time.
