Gate 21A-Z, did France run out of numbers?

The 26-in-1 airport gate. Aéroport Lyon-Saint-Exupéry (LYS) Gate 21 runs from 21A to 21Z. At least LYS’ terminals go by numbers alone, not CDG-esque letter add-ons like Terminal 2A-G. Imagine the confusion of, “Go to 2G-21P.”
