Amex Platinum 100k offers periodically appear so that they should be like airfare mistake fares that you mentally prepare your plan in advance for when they appear.
My wife has been wanting a Platinum card for Amex Centurion Lounge access so we had pre-decided to jump on any 100k offer. This is important because otherwise I can only raise such items at our biweekly Practical Discussion. The resit of the time she does not her mind clouded with such mental drags.
Our app, and others I have seen reported, is giving an error after the authorized user step, “Currently, our systems are not responding. Please try again later or contact us to apply by phone.
Call Us: 1-800-223-2670. We apologize for the inconvenience and look forward to serving you.” That should not disrupt processing and you should see a confirmation email immediately after. Update: on the add authorized user screen click ‘Continue’ rather than ‘Skip this Step’ to avoid this error.
