Google.org, the nonprofit arm of Google, has assembled tremendous resources for Sandy that I am bookmarking for current and future use.
Google Public Alerts presents a map of alerts in the US and some additional countries. Public Alerts information is also incorporated into standard Google searches and Google Maps.
Google Crisis Response has created a Sandy map with thorough detail and useful links (see this Google blog post for more info).
