Courtesy or reader iv in response to my Extending Air Canada Aeroplan 12-Month Activity Expiration With Canada Gas Fill-Ups, here is a method that you can do without leaving the glow of your phone.
The app is for public health education developed in partnership with various Canadian health agencies and organizations. It has integration with Apple HealthKit and Google Fit. See the full FAQ.
Install the app, register with a British Columbia or Newfoundland and Labrador postal code (make your ethical decision on using the postal code if not currently resident) and get going. You can choose to enable push notifications for new offers or periodically log in.
Register your Aeroplan account and miles get auto-deposited within 10 business days.
You can refer friends for 50 miles.
This is not something to generate huge miles unless you take it to great lengths.
My gas fill-ups work for me since I regularly travel to Canada. I wouldn’t feel good taking advantage of a public health tool not intended for me. It is easy to make that call when the stakes are so low. Maybe if it, say, helps some of us in a country without universal health care as a right or practice have better health outcomes, borrowing a postal code won’t be a huge sin. We might not later in life be driving across the border for cheap meds.
