TSA PreCheck to Add 60 More Airports

TSA PreCheck is adding 60 more airports to bring its total to 100, in 42 states plus Puerto Rico and Guam. No specific timetable was given in the press release. Status can be tracked at the participating airline page.

The additions will be:

@Miles, @john – I will keep watching for that news, I wonder on what terms the airlines participate, there needs to be some technological integration and I wonder what costs.

yea I was going to make a similar comment. Right now what they really need is more airlines like Southwest and Jetblue. I read some reports that both airlines want to be participating by the end of 2013. So perhaps its finally happening.

I don’t know why TSA is adding DAL (Dallas Love) and HOU (Houston Hobby) to the list, unless (hope! hope!) Southwest is finally going to start participating in PreCheck.
