My wife and I stopped by the NY LaGaurdia Amex Centurion Lounge for Sunday brunch (yes, we have a flight).
At check-in the chipper receptionist offered cards for a complimentary 6-month membership in Amazon Kindle Unlimited. This must be new as I was here this past Thursday and was not offered a card.
Each card has a unique claim code that must be redeemed by August 31, 2016.
This will opt you in to auto-renewal after 6 months at $9.99 month, so disable auto-renewal if you do not want to later be charged. This is separate from Amazon Prime membership.
For travelers, access to the Lonely Planet oeuvre is great plus, a benefit Running With Miles tipped me off about last year.

SFO Centurion Lounge has the kindle giveaway bonus but I can’t say it was actually being handed out. I just happen to find it off to the side of the reception desk.

I went through there earlier this week – the front desk folks were really helpful and friendly. It was a quirky day as the city buses were transitioning to upstairs stops only, and the curbside ticket machines had been pulled from downstairs but not yet replaced upstairs. Not being a NYC or LGA regular, I was really appreciative of the nice staff doing their best to sort it out . . . Sharon from Centurion front desk actually went outside with me to try to help sort it out (unsuccessfully as it turned out, but an interesting experience).
finally they have something new to offer. I can’t remember how many NYtimes free memberships I gave away.
