The second The Travel Summit, hosted by Ricky Zhang and the Prince of Travel team, is a week away.

I spoke at the first event, which was an excellent, professional program of exciting speakers and lots of networking. The speakers and attendees are diverse from across Canada, the US, and beyond, with all range of travel experience represented, unified in their positive vibe.

Hotels had been really tight that weekend, though an hour ago Radisson Blu Toronto Downtown released a bunch of award nights at 40k Choice Points. Grab them while you can. I snagged a Lake View suite that may see some after parties.

The Los Angeles Dodgers are in town Fri evening plus Sat and Sun daytime, so if you have been wanting to see Shohei Ohtani, it is a short walk from the conference venue Metro Toronto Convention Centre to the Rogers Centre. Catch at game at the city that, for a frantic moment last year, thought that they had landed him.

And I may host another Round 2 of the Sunday charity dinner for those staying in town till Monday.

Tickets: $449 (CAD) + tax. Use code RTC for a $25 CAD discount. At current exchange rates that is around US$348 including tax. This is the most professional points conference I have attended, with top-notch downtown venue, catering, and party, so I think the pricing is appropriate.

Plus, if you are coming from the US, with the favorable exchange rate, get in your shopping at JYSK, Miniso, Muji, Oomomo, and T&T. (If Toronto had Daiso like Vancouver does, maybe they would have landed Ohtani!)
