Interesting links. I don’t think the Australian gun article is very accurate in facts. It says “My expectation is it’s probably not going to be the case that we would have hardened criminals, for example, who have made a big effort to get hold of illegal guns necessarily handing them in,” which is true. So disarming law abiding citizens seems strange. It also goes on to say “guns can be bought easily in the United States” which is not true. You have to submit to a background check. I guess I shouldn’t expect accurate reporting from Bloomberg but still.
