I subscribe to Hilton press releases. This one made me realize how little I know of the western US states: DoubleTree by Hilton Opens its First Hotel in Montana’s Largest City.
I thought for a moment and came up with nothing.
I am from Minnesota and in school holidays in Brooklyn, NY with my grandfather I got the stereotypical, “He’s from Missouri,” “He’s from Montana,” of New York-ers who see the country across the Hudson as a blur. I should know something about a fellow M state. I have not been to Oklahoma, Idaho, Montana, Utah, Arizona, New Mexico and neighboring states have hardly explored.
The answer is Billings and the hotel is the DoubleTree by Hilton Billings.
Montana has 7 cities with 2010 population over 10,000.
RoadFood.com, where I always start my Americana culinary research, has 16 picks for the state.

I thought maybe Helena, but no. Was just looking at a possible trip to Glacier NP and Flathead Lake. Brand new cat2 Marriott just opened nearby. I do love that part of the country. The scenery anyway.
