Discover has announced its 5% cash back calendar for 2020.

Discover it Cash Back cards can earn $75 cash back per quarter from these 5% categories, meaning $1,500 spend. You can have two accounts at a time. Cash back is doubled in the first year of having the card (payout at end of the first year).

Activation is required. Starting today, you can register for Q1.

2020 has some spend-friendly categories:

• January-March 2020: Grocery Stores, Walgreens and CVS
• April-June 2020: Gas Stations, Uber, Lyft and Wholesale Clubs
• July-September 2020: Restaurants and PayPal
• October-December 2020: Amazon.com, Walmart.com and Target.com

These categories mirror and expand on 2019’s categories. Note that Q4 Target.com does not include Target in-store.
