If you’ve been using American Express business cards for OPEN Savings of 5% or 2 points at participating merchants, that program permanently ends today, May 31, 2018. Any charges from June 1, 2018 will not earn OPEN Savings. For Hertz, FedEx and others, change your default payment cards to those with better earnings.

Chase and IHG are trying to repair the damage from their April announcement capping the Chase IHG credit card’s anniversary night certificate. All cardholders will no be granted one more uncapped certificate to May 1, 2019.
