Two new Frequent Traveler University advanced sessions have been announced and registration is open.
First is August 21-23 in Washington, DC, held at the Hyatt Regency Crystal City near DCA airport, register here.
Second is September 25-27 in Dallas, held at the Hyatt Regency DFW, register here.
Both events are $249 and have optional $99 nightly rates at the host hotels.
The weekends start off with an open bar happy hour on Friday, followed by full-day sessions Sat and Sun. The programs cover the main hot topics around miles and points, though each has its own speakers who will have their own take and new topics.
I will be at both and will cover credit cards as well as something like 101 Tips, Tricks and Hacks to be an Expert Traveler or Extreme International Travel, or maybe something entirely new. Heck, I even did a intro Delta talk at FTU last weekend. Been a long time since anyone talked about hotels, maybe go there?
There are a lot of great events in miles and points and each has their take on the optimal program and size. At around 150 people the FTU Advanced to me are a middle-ground between intimacy and enough new faces to meet people and, if needed, avoid others. 🙂
FTU has great sponsors that help make these events possible and two have special offers running whether you register for FTU or not (disclaimer: I do not receive any compensation from these sponsors):
- Silvercar is offering $50 off a 2-day or more rental using code FTU50, open to new and existing members through 12/31/2015.
- PointsHound 1,000 point bonus for 3-night stays when booking from pointshound.com/ftu.
See you at one or both!
