The United Contest that it Doesn’t Want You to Enter

Check out our Top Rewards Cards to boost your points earning and travel more!

United can’t get anything right. The email sent out July 1 “Enter for a chance to win a historic Scotland golf experience for two‏” leads to a contest page that two weeks later is still broken. This reminds me of the United-Marriott RewardsPlus registration website that is down more often than up (currently down). With a registration deadline of July 31, those who do succeed in entering stand a better shot at winning.

If you try to enter with your MileagePlus number, you get an error, here’s a sampling from Chrome, Firefox and Internet Explorer in honor of United’s creativity at delaying flights.
