I love Booking.com, but even as a “genius” I’ve never received any of the promised amenities despite them showing on my reservations. I use them because I like their interface, selection of properties, pricing, and easy cancellations…but I certainly would never use Booking.com for rewards or promised perks based on my experience.
@Becky – ditto for me. In many cases I am booking small, independent guest houses so I don’t expect any of the benefits to come though. Added to your list I like the messaging feature to reach the properties and the detailed property information including GPS coordinates.
