The Ann Arbor Art Fair DO returns for its 14th year with two inspiring speakers:

• Christine Hall of Splendor in the Lemongrass
• Caroline Lupini, who blogs of her eponymous site as well as contributes to miles and points sites

This is an inspired pairing by the organizer, Bikeguy.

Caroline is at the start of her career, choosing an independent lifestyle while many of her peers are already subsumed in traditional career tracks.

Christine is at the other side of her working career. She retired from a desk job in Washington to live in Thailand and travel the world. I first met her at a Frequent Traveler University in Washington, DC, where she enthusiastically attended sessions.

Both have used miles and points to achieve lifestyle and travel goals they once thought out of reach.

Ann Arbor Art Fair DO 14, July 21-22, 2018

I have had the honor to speak at the prior two Ann Arbor Art Fair DOs. Last year I filled in when Ariana suffered IRROPS. I regret that I will miss this year’s event.

The main event is Saturday, July 21 in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Attendees usually informally gather the Friday evening. The Sunday has a casual walk of the Ann Arbor Art Fair. The event is free to attend, though you need to cover your meal costs for the optional meals.
