I insisted on being more hip that the dowdy Sheraton Denver Tech Center or its similar neighbors, so I tried Element Denver Park Meadows, an extended stay brand extension of Westin.

Fit looking people in premium yoga outfits with little dogs enjoying the nighttime fire over drinks. Hipster couples with boxes of adult beverages. IT consultants with black button downs and backpacks.

This was my first element stay and it had so much of my ideal hotel.

A laundry is a necessity for family travel. Though marketed for business travel, this setup could work for families as well.

I stayed at another Element several times. There was a pretentious aura around the place that was almost obnoxious. The building was built super green or low cost the frame of the door was warped making the door likely to almost close. The tub was clogged but they said it was hopeless, chemicals were forbidden, at least till we left. Not only was there a billing error in not noting the rate plan we were on, after correcting it they curtly notified me that it was my resposibility to verify the rate plan on file is the same as the… Read more »
