Alaska is my go to airline for getting to southern california from the DC area. Usining upgrades can almost guarantee a first class seat for half the price of legacy carriers. I’ll almost go out of my way to fly them.

  • Hong

Thanks for sharing. We love Alaska Air!

  • Dennis Palmieri

Mileage Plan miles are available for purchase at a discounted rate during checkout each time you buy an AS ticket on the AS website. If you are Gold, thee is no charge for changing a ticket, so you can repurchase the same ticket multiple times and rack up miles at $199 per 10,000 with each transaction. Shhhh! Don’t tell anyone!!

I’d love a paid of upgrades if they are still avail. Thanks for the offer.

  • Carl

I have a couple of transcons planned for early next year –these would work quite nicely.

  • Shannon

sadly there is not too much use of Alaska from the east coast!

  • michal

Would love to have one for my flight back to Portland!

  • Richard

What a joke, given to people who left no tips.

  • @Richard – myself and a generous reader are trying to do something nice on short notice so I am trying to be flexible. I almost did not accept these because I knew the amount of work it would be while I am on vacation. I have had to contact entrants and redraw several times because upon their review not all had eligible flights to use the certs. I will keep drawing until they get in the hands of people who can use them, and that may end up being you.
