Ft. Collins, Colorado is a mix of college kids and corporate park denizens. The old town meets the requisite charm threshold while mixing in trendy eateries. A highlight is the Rocket Fizz Soda Pop and Candy Shop, one of many candy and ice cream shops in a town with a sweet tooth. Turns out this isn’t the original Rocket Fizz, though that did not detract from the Lite-Brite fun of wandering the store’s crammed aisles lined with whimsical and regional candies, plus their own line of sodas. One classic: Seal Ya Later, with a picture of Osama Bin Laden.
