Rapid Travel Chai

July 22, 2011 saw an announcement from the US Mint that its Direct Ship Program had eliminated credit card and debit card purchases (read my take here). Many mile and point collectors had used this program to rack up credit card bonuses, and the sometimes comic lengths they went to circulate the coins make for many great tales atop the bar stool.
