Priority Pass in Pittsburgh – The Club’s Newest US Lounge

The Club at Pittsburgh opened June 12. I don’t recall media attention at the time and only saw it while refreshing the Priority Pass lounge list. The press photos are not a convincing sales job.

Priority Pass The Club PIT

The Club and The Lounge

This joins The Club and The Lounge locations of varying quality in the US at: ATL, BOS, BWI, CVG, DFW, LAS, MCO, PHX, SEA, and SJC. In the UK they have several locations at LHR.

I like the Boston and Orlando locations. I am not impressed with the Las Vegas and Seattle lounges, where I have credit card access to superior lounges. I have not visited the rest.

Just visited the temporary Club at PIT a couple of weeks ago. Right now, it’s pretty small but well done; better than the AC leftover from US. The chairs are comfortable and there are some OK tarmac views of the C/D gates. The standard morning and afternoon snacks are available, just as at other clubs. Alcoholic drinks can be ordered from an attendant, since there’s no bar in the temporary lounge. It was nearly empty and very quiet when I visited at 8:30 am on a Thursday, and they had two very friendly attendants checking guests in, as well as one who walked around and cleared plates. They were extremely attentive to guests in the lounge and made sure we were comfortable our entire stay!

  • Gino, thank you for the detailed report, much better than the spartan press pictures suggest.

  • My experience was the same as Gino. The biggest issue I saw was lack of power outlets. I think this space was once a BA lounge and has not been used since before the smartphone era, so no wonder there are not that many outlets. I am sure the new space will address that.
