Hotel Indigo Warsaw – Nowy Swiat has opened. It goes for 30,000 IHG points a night.

It joins the Intercontinental Warsaw, which is 35,000 points a night.

June cash rates for the two properties are around $170/night. The other two IHG hotels are airport and suburban, respectively.

In Poland, there is also the Hotel Indigo Krakow – Old Town for 30,000 IHG points a night.

My experience is that Europe chain hotels east of the German speaking countries generally give better elite status treatment and benefits than the western countries, so I am more likely to splurge on a higher-level chain hotel.

I have liked most Hotel Indigo I have tried. Hotel Indigo Shanghai on the Bund is my favorite chain boutique hotel. Only real dud I have found is Hotel Indigo Anaheim which you can picture a Hampton Inn with someone sticking on multi-colored wall panels.
