United has a long-running status match challenge program. Short take you can only do it every five years.
Through United Deals RSS feed I came across an offer listed as targeted to selected United MileagePlus members: Restore your past MileagePlus Premier® status, plus earn bonus award miles.
You can challenge back to the highest United status you held in 2013 or 2014. In the 90-day period you can keep the status through January 31, 2017, and earn a 10,000 miles bonus, by meeting targets of:

| Premier Silver | 7,000 PQM or 8 PQS |
| Premier Gold | 12,500 PQM or 15 PQS |
| Premier Platinum | 18,000 PQM or 22 PQS |
| Premier 1K® | 25,000 PQM or 30 PQS |
There is lots of fine print to consider for your situation. What stands out to me is there is no mention of exclusion from prior challenges or that a status earned from a challenge is excluded. If it may work for your situation, try registering with Promotion Code: TB4M32.
Registration is open to December 31, 2015 and the 90-day clock ticks from registration date. I am not going to test my account for this until I have a block of travel that might qualify. Travel needs to be on United and anything I have upcoming would be on partners.
