US Airways credit cardholders that have versions of the card with an annual 10k miles bonus at account renewal received a nice email this morning, the first official statement that this benefit will continue to be a card benefit in 2015 and beyond.
It is possible to receive the miles and cancel the card in time to not pay the $89 annual fee. Or to keep it going year to year and collect 10,000 miles. I have two of these cards and will probably keep them open.
I am not aware of any current offer for new applicants that has this bonus. There is an offer that includes a 10k bonus on 1st, and only 1st, anniversary, see here.
