Water bottle leaking? Oh no…that’s warm.

My experience with horses mostly involves seeing them on movie screens. Last weekend I had a four-hour ride to visit the great citadel of the Caribbean, La Citadelle la Ferrière.

Bad idea: heels on stirrups, legs back.

Good idea: balls of feet on stirrups, legs pushed forward.

Incidentally, this is a new addition to the many reasons I almost never wear shorts while traveling.

Haha, I also just had my first horseback riding experience a couple months ago at Mt. Charleston. It was about 2 hours, and I didn’t think there was a particular need for me to do that again… While I did not get pissed on, I did notice how much horses peed each time. It would not have been fun!
