Starch came out of the town’s collar this past weekend with the Oakville Jazz Festival. Soon Torn Bahn Thai provided elegant dining. Colossus Greek Taverna looked great, it’s few tables jam-packed. Black Forest Pastry Shop is the place for whoopie pies.

Less than a half  hour west of Toronto Pearson International Airport (YYZ), the boutiques and eateries combine with the lakeside to make for a delightful outing, festival or non.
